I was lucky enough to not only see the new Steve McQueen “BASS” installation at Schaulager in Basel, but also to gain some technical insights into the lighting—since a friend provided technical support for the artist.
The show itself is truly breathtaking and impressive! Not only does the sound touch your soul, but combined with the monochromatic colors, it gives you the feeling of being zoomed out of the world—your senses feel like they’re on steroids…
